ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Bronx Permanent Housing, Sign On Bonus $1K

Beacon of Hope (BOH), a Division of Catholic Charities Community Services, is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our new Villa Avenue, Bronx office to provide support to staff and clients. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for managing a variety of administrative procedures and systems associated with BOH and the agency and Performs work in accordance with the NYS Office of Mental Health guidelines for Supported Housing. The Administrative Assistant works Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Salary is $21.00-23.85 an hour ($43,680 - $49,608 annually. Pro-rated on time actually worked during the year.) Salary is commensurate with educational attainment and skill set.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of related office work experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional relationships
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills
  • Entry level skills with Microsoft Office including WORD and EXCEL
