If that is you, then look no further! Catholic Charities of Orange, Sullivan and Ulster has several positions open throughout Sullivan and Orange Counties (2 Counselor Positions in Newburgh and 1 Counselor Position in Port Jervis, and 2 Counselor positions in Monticello)
We provide 4 weeks of vacation, 8 personal/sick days, and 12 paid holidays.
The hourly rate is based on a range, dependent upon credentials or licensure status. Hourly rate ranges from $26.09/hour to $35.71/hour
CASAC 1:    $26.09/hour           
CASAC 2:    $27.47/hour
CASAC ADVANCED:  $30.21/hour
CASAC MASTER:   $30.21/hour
LMSW:   $32.96/hour
LCSW:   $35.71/hour
Summary:
The Chemical Dependency Counselor is responsible for intakes, individual, group and family
counseling, may also provide continuing care and services to significant others. He/she is also responsible for the documentation of case records.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
1. Conduct intakes, provide individual, group and family counseling as assigned by the Program Director.
2. Maintain caseload and all required documentation.
3. Participate in group and individual supervision as required by the Program Director.
4. Attend seminars and training as assigned by the Program Director and maintain continuing education as required by licensing agency.
5. Attend all staff meetings, case conferences, or other meetings as required by Program Director.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position.(3 days from 9am - 5pm and 2 days from 12noon - 8pm)
Qualifications:
Education and/or experience required:
• GED/High School Diploma required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Three years’ experience counseling people with substance use disorder and co-occurring psychiatric needs.
Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required:
• CASAC or other QHP license
• Chemical Dependency Counselor will maintain full compliance with Federal confidentiality regulations governing substance abuse records as outlined in 42 CFR Part and with the Standards for Privacy of Individually Identifiable Health Information (45 CFR Parts 160 and 164).
